We adopted our ferrets from the Greater Chicago Ferret Association.
They run a no-kill, nonprofit shelter for ferrets with no where else to go.
They are excellent; please check them out if you are looking for a ferret in the Chicago area.
An excellent general ferret resource is Ferret Central.
Hobbes is a rather mellow elderly ferret. His main interests are eating and sleeping, but he can still be encouraged to be lively occasionally.
